The second Korsi Hangout brings together two artists whose musical visions intersect through the themes of identity, belonging, and home. The evening begins with solo performances from both musicians, creating an intimate and reflective atmosphere.
Mohammad Mostafa Heydarian
Mohammad Mostafa Heydarian is a tanbur player from Kermanshah, Iran. The tanbur, a traditional Kurdish lute, carries centuries of Yarsan spiritual and folk music.
Born into a family of instrument makers, Heydarian’s sound is rooted in this heritage yet distinctly personal — rhythmic, emotional, and deeply expressive.
He joins us as part of his European tour, traveling from Kermanshah together with Valentin Portron.
Nadia Sheya
Nadia Sheya is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Esslingen with Iranian roots. Her music bridges Persian melodies with rock and blues influences, reflecting her experience between two cultures.
Singing in German, Persian, and English, she crafts honest and emotional songs exploring identity, transformation, and inner strength.
Come by for a cozy hangout in our favorite living room in Kalk — Villa Kalka.
We look forward to seeing you on November 6.
