A Night Where Music Moves Across Roots, Stories, and Sound
Korsi invites all curious listeners to an evening where music travels between places, memories, and voices. Two solo performances by Derya Yıldırım and Makan Ashgvari explore how tradition and experiment can coexist — blending heritage, emotion, and innovation in a shared space.
Derya Yıldırım
Derya Yıldırım gives new life to Anatolian folk songs through her voice and the sound of the Bağlama. She approaches these melodies not as historical relics, but as living expressions that continue to evolve. Her performances carry both tenderness and strength, honoring the past while opening it to new generations.
Makan Ashgvari
Makan Ashgvari is a singer, songwriter, electronic musician, and storyteller from Tehran. His performances are known for their emotional depth and theatrical energy, moving through themes of belonging, love, migration, and identity. Each show becomes a unique conversation between sound and story — a moment of shared reflection and transformation.
Closing Set by Burakete (Süperdisko)
After the solo performances, Burakete from Süperdisko closes the night with a DJ set that connects folk, electronic, and global rhythms. What begins in quiet reflection ends in collective movement.
