Live at Altes Pfandhaus, Cologne
Opening performance by Dila Yavuz
On 3 October 2026, korsi collective welcomes Istanbul-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer Dilan Balkay to Altes Pfandhaus in Cologne.
Moving between alternative music, jazz and narrative-driven songwriting, Dilan Balkay creates music that is intimate, atmospheric and difficult to contain within a single genre. A trumpet player since the age of nine, she has been an active part of Turkey’s alternative music scene since 2016, contributing trumpet, keyboards and vocals to numerous concerts and recordings.
Since beginning her solo career in 2019, Dilan has released a series of singles and collaborations, followed by her debut album KUYU in 2021. Her second album, Tavşan Uykusu, further develops her distinctive musical language—bringing layered arrangements together with deeply personal storytelling.
Her international appearances include the Jerusalem Jazz Festival, Enjoy Jazz Festival in Mannheim and a performance in London. Now, she brings her live set to Cologne for a special evening presented by korsi collective.

The evening begins with a performance by Cologne-based Turkish singer Dila Yavuz.
Dila’s music brings contemporary jazz into conversation with the melodies, poetry and emotional textures of the Turkish language. After studying jazz in Istanbul, she completed her master’s degree in jazz singing at the Cologne University of Music and Dance.
Her intimate sound reaches beyond language, opening a shared space for listening, feeling and connection.
