Introduction
Korsi is built on togetherness.
It began as a circle of friends gathering to share food, music, and conversation — and it continues in that spirit. Every person who joins us becomes part of what Korsi is.
These guidelines are not rules to restrict, but invitations to co-create an environment where everyone can feel at ease, respected, and present. We ask you to read them with the same openness with which we host our gatherings.
1. Shared Intention
Korsi is a space for cultural exchange, connection, and creativity.
We come together to celebrate diversity, to listen deeply, and to create new forms of community across languages, backgrounds, and generations.
Our shared responsibility is to keep this spirit alive — through how we speak, move, and care for each other.
2. Presence and Participation
- Be present. Listen, engage, and respect the flow of the gathering.
- Participation can mean many things: dancing, sitting quietly, helping someone find their way, sharing food, or simply being there with openness.
- We value curiosity over performance, and sincerity over perfection.
3. Respect and Boundaries
- Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
- Do not touch, photograph, or record others without consent.
- Respect personal space, pronouns, and identities.
- If someone expresses discomfort, listen and adjust.
- We don’t tolerate discrimination, harassment, or hostility of any kind — verbal, physical, or emotional.
4. Care and Accountability
We hold each other accountable with care, not shame.
If something uncomfortable happens, speak to one of the organizers or awareness team members. We are here to listen and to act if needed.
We don’t seek to punish, but to protect and repair — for the safety and dignity of everyone involved.
5. Accessibility and Inclusion
We strive to make Korsi events accessible — financially, physically, and emotionally.
If you need support or an adjustment to participate comfortably, please let us know in advance.
We are learning, and your feedback helps us grow.
6. No Excessive Consumption
Korsi is not a commercial party space.
Come with the intention to share, not to consume.
Whether it’s alcohol, attention, or space — moderation, mutual respect, and awareness guide us.
7. The Atmosphere We Want to Keep
- Music that connects rather than overwhelms.
- Conversations that include, not divide.
- Imperfection that feels alive.
- A blend of languages, sounds, and emotions that mirrors who we are.
We welcome chaos and laughter, mistakes and silences. Korsi is for people, not for perfection.
8. Photography & Documentation
Korsi events are often documented to share the collective story.
If you don’t wish to appear in photos or videos, please let the documentation team or awareness team know at the entrance.
We always prioritize comfort over content.
9. Closing Thought
Korsi is a shared effort — not just by organizers, but by everyone who shows up.
We ask you to enter our gatherings with kindness, curiosity, and care.
Every word, every gesture, every interaction shapes what Korsi becomes.
Together, we create the warmth we wish we’d found elsewhere.
