Shahry Dasht is a singer-songwriter from Iran. He not only writes and composes his own songs, but also sets classical and contemporary poems by other authors to music and passionately reinterprets traditional folk songs. The themes of his music are characterised by deep homesickness, a critical reflection on the human condition, political questions and social issues.

His songs invite you to ponder and touch you with their emotional depth and expressiveness.
