Schaho Balbas (born 1998 in Mannheim) is a Kurdish poet and curator based in Cologne. As the founder of KANAX4LIFE, he documents MENA diasporic life through literature, performance, and installation. His work centers oral storytelling, cultural resilience, and self-organized forms of remembrance. He has led workshops at Nationaltheater Mannheim, Kulturbunker Köln, and other spaces, and is currently developing a theatre piece on the Kurdish resistance movement of the 1980s.
