Rew is a DJ whose work moves through Kurdish, Arabic, and wider SWANA sounds, connecting them with R&B, hip-hop, and club music. As part of Korsi’s SWANA Essential Sounds program, Rew appeared in a back-to-back set with Shazadi, moving between Bakur and Başûr references and broader diasporic club textures.
