Farinaaz is a singer and vocal coach based in Hamburg, originally from Isfahan, Iran. She began her artistic career with a focus on singing and continued her professional and academic development after migrating to Germany. Her vocal style blends traditional Iranian singing with the techniques of Western classical vocal performance, creating an intercultural soundscape in her performances.
Farinaaz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Western Classical Voice and a Master’s degree in Musikwelt (World Music) with a specialization in Jazz Vocals from the University of Hildesheim. Alongside her artistic career, she works as a voice teacher and music educator in schools and daycare centers.
At the heart of her artistic practice is the idea of connecting cultures through music. She believes that every culture carries its own unique history and identity, and that bringing these cultures together through music can help foster a world that is more connected, understanding, and united.
