Dourna Khamsalou (born in 1994 in Tabriz, Iran) is a professional dancer and architect based in Germany. She began dancing at the age of five and received her training from renowned instructors in Iran and Azerbaijan, including Laleh Najmi and Taraneh Moradova.
Since the age of eighteen, she has also worked as a teacher of Azerbaijani dance and has participated in numerous dance and cultural festivals across Iran, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and other countries.
Alongside her artistic career, Dourna studied architecture in both Iran and Germany. Today, she works as an architect while continuing her practice as a professional dance educator and performer in Germany, dedicating herself to preserving and sharing the rich traditions of Azerbaijani dance.
