Ali Aflatooni is an Iranian guitarist, composer, and educator whose work bridges classical precision with contemporary musical expression. Equally at home on classical and electric guitar, he has developed a versatile practice that moves between traditional forms, ensemble performance, and modern experimentation. Throughout his career, Aflatooni has performed with ensembles including Nomad Trio, Public Voice, Moorming Quartet, and Zhāpath.

His collaborative work has also included projects with Iranian pop artist Mehdi Yarrahi, connecting different audiences, genres, and musical vocabularies. His performances have taken him beyond Iran’s borders, including a concert in Malaysia in 2012, and his artistry has earned recognition as Top Performer at a national music festival. His work is marked by technical clarity, emotional depth, and a strong sense of musical storytelling.

Alongside his artistic practice, Aflatooni has been active as an educator. Since 2017, he has taught guitar at Rangin Kaman Music Academy, where he supports students in developing both technical mastery and a personal relationship to sound.
