Ahmed Eid is a pioneering Palestinian musician whose work bridges traditional Arabic rhythms with global influences, crafting music that is both soul-stirring and politically resonant. His art tells stories of struggle, liberation, and belonging — offering sound as a form of resistance and renewal.
Born and raised in Palestine, and with a career spanning over two decades in Europe, Eid has become a vital voice in contemporary Arabic music. As the co-founder of the internationally acclaimed band Bukahara, he has toured widely as a bassist, percussionist, and singer-songwriter, known for his dynamic performances and cross-cultural collaborations.
In 2024, Eid embarked on a new solo chapter with his debut EP “Aghani Akhira أغاني أخيرة” (Last Songs), addressing themes such as patriarchal violence and colonialism through an intimate, poetic lens. His recent performances — including collaborations with Berlin-based band ILYF as part of the KINDA x Palestine Music Space fundraiser tour — mark the beginning of his next creative era.
Beyond the stage, Eid is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of Palestinian artists. As the founder of Palestine Music Space in Ramallah, he provides free music training and recording facilities, building a space of hope, solidarity, and creative freedom for young musicians.
