Pflanzstelle Kalk, Cologne
After a wonderful afternoon together last time, we’re returning to Pflanzstelle Kalk for another edition of our Korsi Hangout — this time with the incredible JUNO.
Korsi Hangouts are slow, welcoming afternoons where music, conversations, food, and creativity come together. Whether you want to meet new people, spend time with friends, make art, or simply enjoy a relaxed summer evening, you’re warmly invited.
Throughout the evening there will be a printing and painting station, backgammon and other community games, cold drinks, snacks, and a carefully curated soundtrack to accompany the gathering.
As always, feel free to bring your favourite board game, something to share, or simply yourself.
Everything is offered on a pay-what-you-can contribution basis so everyone can participate.
Live: JUNO
Leftfield Pop · Indie Rock · Experimental Electronics
Jannah Emam, performing as JUNO, is an Egyptian singer, songwriter, musician, and producer whose work exists somewhere between dream-pop, art rock, experimental electronics, and intimate songwriting.
Born and raised in Cairo, JUNO first emerged from the city’s vibrant underground music scene before developing a sound uniquely her own—combining ethereal textures, soulful vocals, spacious arrangements, and fearless experimentation.
Her debut EP Immerse (2020) introduced audiences to her immersive sonic universe and led to performances across the region, including XP Music Futures (Riyadh) and Shorelines Festival.
Through vulnerable lyricism and adventurous production, JUNO creates music that explores transformation, identity, tenderness, and resilience. Songs such as Power of She celebrate strength while reflecting on the limitations imposed by society and the possibilities that emerge beyond them.
Her forthcoming EP, THE COLOR PULP (Spring 2026), marks another evolution in her artistic journey. Written between Cairo and Berlin, co-produced with Belal Ali and mastered by Heba Kadry (Björk, Beach House), the record transforms grief, longing, anger, and hope into expansive, deeply emotional soundscapes.
Describing herself as a “melodic meanderer,” JUNO continues to blur genres and borders, creating musical spaces that feel both deeply personal and wonderfully otherworldly.
We can’t wait to spend another summer evening together with you.
Bring your friends, your curiosity, your favourite game—or simply come as you are.
See you at Korsi Hangout #6!
