Donya Solaimani (she/her) is a singer, guitarist, and composer based between Cologne and Berlin. Her work weaves together influences from minimal music, jazz, and pop with the textures and poetics of traditional Iranian music.
In September 2025, she released her debut EP “Feast”, a collection of intimate compositions that move between delicacy and depth — where intricate melodies meet lyrical reflection. Her songs unfold like fragments of memory: brief, spacious, and emotionally precise.
Trained in classical guitar, jazz vocals, and philosophy in Berlin, Cologne, and Copenhagen, Donya brings an intellectual clarity to her art while keeping a playful, intuitive touch. She loves short songs, big melodies, and — as she says — “cilantro on everything.”
Her music invites listeners into a space of quiet intensity, where simplicity becomes its own form of complexity.
